The opening of SMASH
SMASH (Sutton & Merton Aphasia Self Help) Group are people who came together to help each other cope with the effects of aphasia.
It was set up in July 1993 to provide a friendly, safe and supportive environment for people with a language disorder.
The group meets every other Monday, from 10.30am until 12.30am
