SMASH members Leo and Trevor receive the cheque from Barclays
In Autumn 2008, the Londonations scheme comprising the Capital Community Foundation, Barclays Bank and Metro invited London charities to apply for donations of funding for projects that will make a difference to people in London. Nearly 300 groups applied and 50 groups received awards from the fund donated by Barclays Bank.
The cheques were presented to each successful charity at a function in the Barclays Tower at Canary Wharf on 29 February 2008.
